National Humanities Alliance

The National Humanities Alliance (NHA) is a coalition of organizations dedicated to advancing humanities education, research, preservation, and public programs. The NHA (and its members) under continual pressure for funding, wanted to highlight the importance and effectiveness of the many projects the organization supports across the country. They asked Visual Dialogue to design and develop two distinct websites that not only could provide a snapshot of projects but also would allow users to get additional information and sort by topics of interest.

In developing the two distinct project sites it was important to give each a unique look and feel that corresponded to the purpose and content. NEH for All features an interactive map that organizes initiatives by state to facilitate conversations with Congress as it relates to funding. Humanities for All showcases over 1400 higher ed-based initiatives with an easy-to-use sorting system. Both sites fulfill the mission of demonstrating the important work that is being accomplished and how many citizens it reaches across our country.
